ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Cherry Valley Elementary has long been known as the smallest school with the largest heart.

Our mission is to empower students to become independent, compassionate, and capable learners through personalized instruction, strong community partnerships, and a supportive rural environment.
We strive to nurture confident, curious learners who embrace challenges, value community, and grow into thoughtful contributors to our world.

THIS YEAR'S FUNDRAISING GOALS
Continue to fund the following:

-
Agricultural program: Providing chicken feed and supplies, as well as resources for our gardens.

-
Teacher appreciation gifts and events: Organize events for teacher appreciation week, gifts for teachers, and meals during conferences and back to school.

-
Staff grants: Our teachers and staff are given a budget every year for PTO funded grants. These help to provide additional resources for our students that the district budget may not cover.

-
Community events: Last year our PTO sponsored events such as an ice cream social, a field day dance party with ice cream, bounce house day, a talent show with bingo and a spaghetti dinner, and much more.

Big projects!
-
Repair and further expand our chicken coop and runs
-
Expand our library with new books!

During the last week of school there were many fun activities but last years favorite was by far bounce house day!
At CVE we have several raised garden beds as well as our ag trailer that is home to flowers, vegetables and fruits planted by out students, staff, and PTO members.
